Sophie & Joseph

Le Petit Chateau - Otterburn, Northumberland.

After a very long, very wet 300 mile drive to Northumberland, I arrived to cheers and laughing at Le Petit Chateau as dinner was being served for everyone attending the next morning’s big wedding. I was very generously given a beautiful room for 2 nights from Sophie and Joseph. Once i’d dried off, got changed and made my way to dinner, I was greeted by the faces of a couple old friends as the bride and groom to be sat me down with the bride’s sister and her family. After a wet entrance, the warmth i received was incredible as was the food (pretty good veggie options!). I enjoyed a lovely meal and then went snooping for the ceremony room and i was blown away by both the room itself and the decorations, hand made by Sophie.
